Forks Over Knives (Week 1)

Learning how to cook vegetarian meal is not as
hard especially if there was a time in your life
that you had no choice but to cook it.
And when you do it for your herbivore friends from everywhere,
it just gives you a hint of congenial pressure.

Giving up meat is something that I have been
back and forth, for so many years.
It was one of those things that I think is impossible.
I was meatless for 6 months ten years ago and it was fine.
What can I say? Crispy pata found me. Ha!

But now it's kind of different. When I saw the
documentary Forks Over Knives, it just made a lot of sense.
I love my kid and I can not afford to get sick
and live everyday thinking about my pills.

So I challenged myself to not eat meat for
as long as I could. It's a win-win challenge anyway
so this can't be that hard, I guess.
And hey, I am saying these online so this must
not turn into bullshit and actually do it.
Wish me luck!

Vegan bagoong that I made. Fancied-up as a joke by Keeyo.

When I am not too lazy to type, I might include some recipes soon.
