In preparation for the hectic weekend, I started my Friday night
with drink and a little amusement just to end my 2 week-long insomnia.
Few days before, my low-blood pressure haunted me back so it
was inevitable that my anxiety will slowly creep in.
And so to bed that night, it was early.
Hoping I won't pass out while driving to San Pablo.

With just an hour drive, there we were at the Lakefest in San Pablo City.
The 5pm show started around 8pm.
Friggin' humid and the end part of the show was a disaster.
Usually, I didn't have to finish shows there because it is not unusual that
they will end it just a couple of hours before the dawn. But this time, I had to.
Prayer of Endurance played last so obviously, only few people stayed
to watch them. Around 30 people left including 13 of Baguio crew.
I blame the full moon for people's temper and bad decisions that night.

Sun is up and I'm still driving around.
Already light-headed and even felt like throwing up while waiting
for the guys to buy some food before hitting the beach. Took the Baguio crew to the
nearest and cheapest beach I could think of and that's Villa Del Prado in Sariaya.
Crowded and hot-aired black sand excuse for a beach.
It was impossible to catch few winks with that sun but the tiredness prevailed.
Inside the tent, we woke up after an hour sweating like a pig.
I am using the pig for emphasis although I have never seen an actual
 sweating pig.

And so the fun part began. Drinks, good food, good company, great conversation.
If only we had a decent place to rest there, we would have stayed longer.
Bummer, we had to cut the beach time short coz I have another
pool party to go to.

Sunday night in Lucena was Guni-Guri's 24-hour pool party and art talk.
We had my good friend Crisanto De Leon as a speaker.
He stayed for another day so my weekend basically ended Tuesday night.

On Sunday, Morrissey will be here and I still don't have tickets.
It's nerve-wrecking and it's giving me butterflies that anything could happen.
I could be sick or the ticket deals could go awry. I don't know.
But one thing for sure is, I hope I don't die before Sunday.
