Weekend Away From Here

Went to the Metro to watch a show. I was so psyched coz my last was November last year.

Backtrack from NY was unexpected. 

I haven't heard of them and their music though I knew that they were coming.

I wasn't really the type who will know a song by heart

just so I can sing along with a touring band.

Was aiming for that "another Madball kinda hardcore" comment but they're actually great.

They're young yet their songs felt old with a pleasant twist.

Saw some friend's bands play again, friends who constantly make fun of me,

friends I constantly make fun of, a friend who tirelessly listen to my troubles

and that friend whose smile reminds me of scented papers.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures from the show.
