It was the most interesting week of the year... so far.
Death, revelations, obligations, long journeys, more revelations and big smiles.
This week definitely reminded me that life is indeed short and that I should
really enjoy and endure it because life is more than just a routine.
It's more than just a quote from a song.
It's more than just a series of rule-abiding days.
It's more than just a journey to happily ever after.
It's more than how much you make and things that you own.
If you're genuinely happy for the first time in many many years,
does it still matter if it's the "right" thing to do or not?
What is "right" anyway?
If something is done differently and completely out of the rule book,
does it automatically translate as a mistake?
When you're all alone, weeping to sleep and countless replays of scenes
from the past, asking yourself what you could have possibly done
to make things right, will it make a difference? Now?
Good thing about death is, no matter how fucked up you've been
and how many lives you have drastically screwed,
people will always want to remember mostly only the good side of you.
So let me ask you again. When the clock is ticking and when even you try to deny the fact
that we're all counting down the days, does it still matter that you're "right"?
"Let me live before I die."
